At FurKids Retreat, we are dedicated to creating a safe, loving and enriching environment where every guest feels secure, understood and valued. With high standards, small numbers and genuine compassion at the heart of everything we do, we strive to provide more than boarding - we provide peace of mind.
Comprehensive Pet Care
Dog Boarding
Our dogs stay in chalet-style accommodation, with three separate chalet buildings offering nine rooms in each. Every chalet has access to its own private outdoor yard, allowing guests to move freely between indoor comfort and outdoor fresh air throughout the day.
Daily enrichment is an essential part of the FurKids experience. Depending on weather and each guest’s needs, dogs enjoy park play sessions, structured walks, or interactive play within their chalet spaces. Rest, routine and stimulation are carefully balanced to ensure a calm and positive stay. We are a strictly small dog only boarding facility.
Cat Boarding
For our feline guests, we exclusively offer ten private cat rooms, each complete with its own private 'catio'. This allows cats to safely enjoy outdoor sights and fresh air while maintaining their own quiet sanctuary. Every cat receives personalised one-on-one attention tailored to their individual personality — whether that’s playtime, brushing, cuddles or peaceful companionship.
Daycare
Our small dog daycare operates from its own dedicated Daycare Chalet, purposefully designed to create a safe, structured and enriching environment for our guests. Each daycare day includes structured enrichment — whether that’s supervised social play, park sessions, walks, or interactive activities within the chalet if the weather isn’t ideal. We thoughtfully balance stimulation with rest periods to ensure dogs leave feeling happy and content, not overstimulated.
Grooming
We offer professional grooming services exclusively for our boarding and daycare guests. From bath and blow-dries to deshedding treatments, Hygiene grooms, Full grooms and tidy-ups, our grooming is designed to keep your pet comfortable, clean and feeling their best during their stay.
Using high-quality products and gentle handling techniques, we ensure every grooming session is a calm and positive experience.
Nutrition
At FurKids Retreat, nutrition is approached with the same care and consideration as every other aspect of our guests’ stay.
Our dogs are offered Prime100 SPD rolls — known for their single-protein, highly digestible formulations — alongside premium Advance dry and wet options to provide balanced, complete nutrition.
Our feline guests enjoy a curated selection of Advance dry and wet foods in a variety of flavours, ensuring both nutritional integrity and palatability.
We understand that consistency is important, and owners are always welcome to provide their pet’s regular diet if preferred.
Wellbeing
At FurKids Retreat, wellbeing is at the core of everything we do.
Each guest is carefully monitored throughout their stay, with routine health observations including appetite, behaviour, toileting patterns and overall condition.
Our structured daily routines are designed to provide a balanced combination of enrichment, social interaction and appropriate rest, supporting both physical and emotional wellbeing.
